RAIN, RAIN, GO AWAY. COME AGAIN SOME OTHER...NEVER!!!!

Can someone please tell me why the fuck I moved back to Seattle? I escaped it's wrath for three years and then I move back? I mean yes, I believe there have been many purposes...relationship lessons, stronger bonds with friends, new friends, life lessons, etc. And there are some great things about this city! However, I've gone what I apparently need to go through here, and I'm pretty much done now. We are approaching 30 consecutive days of rain and I'm ready to slit my throat. Even people who the weather typically doesn't bother them, are going nuts. And the cost of living? Can we all not agree that if you're paying out the ass per the cost of living for a city, that you should at least get something in return? A day without rain? A day where you can....gasp....wear a t-shirt?

I think I can stand one more year. One more year of this place and then I think I need to escape. Somewhere warm and sultry. Somewhere I can wear the gauzy shirts and sundresses I love once again. Somewhere where I feel more like myself. Somewhere where it isn't bone chilling rain every fucking day! Somewhere where...dare I say, the color blue exists in the sky more than 20% of the year.

Yes, one more year. I think that's all I can do. Then it's time to run like hell.
