ABOUT HEATHER
Born in Idaho, but luckily with no recollection of living there, Heather grew up in the Seattle suburb of Redmond, Washington (home of Microsoft). Too many years of rain led her to her first escape to Phoenix. Six months of too much brown led her back to her Seattle where she met and married her ex-husband, a germaphobe with a fear of sitting on toilets and a need to wash his butt out after every deposit.
After a few more years of rain, Heather moved back to Phoenix, taking her husband with her. One year and one divorce later, she floundered about trying to find her place - Scottsdale, Flagstaff, Kentucky, then back to Seattle. Surrounded by the crowd of amazing friends she left, and new ones that added more greatness, she settled back into her life in what will always be home in heart. But three more years and a longing to know her young niece, led her to a crazy town in North Carolina where she now resides. Her adventures in this town are few and the lifestyle is not conducive to her joys and wants, so late at night...and in the morning, afternoon, early evening, and possibly while she sleeps....she plots her escape. Next adventure? Boston.
These are Heather's stories. They began as blast emails to her friends back home about what was going on with her during her divorce, and turned into the adventures and oddities she encountered as she tried to rebuild her life as a newly single woman. Through the years the locations have changed, but the stories continue - sometimes funny; sometimes chill; sometimes just a rant. This is Heather. These are the ramblings of a Geographic Schizophrenic.
*Heather enjoys writing, reading, movies, music, yoga, hanging and laughing with friends, traveling, camping, hiking, playing in the outdoors, new shampoo and conditioner, seasons that change, and any new adventure - complex or simple. She is also on an eternal quest for the anti-wrinkle cream that will give her back the skin she had at 20 minus the zits. Heather is also known by those who know her, as somewhat of a poop fanatic. She doesn't want to see it. She just finds it funny.
